When I was a new mom, I never fully believed it when I was told that my children would grow up in the blink of an eye. I’m pretty sure most new moms feel the same way. Sleep exhaustion can do that to you. Now that my oldest is in the 7th grade, I believe it.
One thing that I’ve learned over the years is that your children will forget the toys that you bought them, but they will never forget the memories you make with them. My family has had some of the best bonding experiences right here in Ocean County, NJ. There are tons of local places right in your backyard where you can make these unforgettable memories with your family–and they’re almost all either free or virtually free.
